  1. Single-point Dressers
    Built with single natural diamond, carat range from 0.10ct to 2.00ct, for general rough & fine dressing of small & medium vitrified/resin wheels. Matched with ct selection formula based on wheel diameter & width. Install at 10°~15° tilt angle; multiple light dressing passes keep diamond tip sharp and extend service life greatly.
  2. Multi-point Dressers
    3~7 evenly arranged diamonds integrated in one dressing tip, with larger contact area for fast dressing of large & wide grinding wheels. Uniform force prevents diamond chipping and delivers stable continuous operation for mass production lines. Single-layer diamond design lowers replacement cost.
  3. Forming Dressers
    Available in natural & synthetic diamond, standard angles 45°/55°/60° with 0.2R & 0.5R radii. It shapes precise wheel arcs and bevels in one pass, ideal for flute grinding wheels of end mills & drills, eliminating repeated profiling steps and boosting tool forming accuracy & efficiency.
  4. Cone Dressers
    Standard 60° cone angle with tiny 0.02R~0.03R tip radius, multiple standard shank sizes optional. Designed for fine sharpening of micro, ultra-thin and wafer grinding wheel edges. It delivers delicate wheel cutting edges to avoid workpiece chipping and achieve low Ra surface finish.
  5. Impregnated Dressers (BD1/BD2/BD3)
    Metal substrate uniformly impregnated with massive micro diamond grains, classified into short BD1, standard BD2 and extended forming BD3. Suitable for continuous dressing of large-area & high-hardness wheels, with superior wear resistance vs single-point dressers. No frequent replacement during long-hour mass production, perfect for heavy-duty semiconductor wafer grinding.
Standard Dressing Operation Guidelines
  1. Selection Basis
    When selecting dressers, confirm wheel abrasive, grit, hardness, bond type, OD & thickness, plus machine dry/wet condition, feed rate, wheel speed, target finish, workpiece material and machine precision. Match proper diamond carat via ct calculation formula.
  2. Mounting Angle
    Install the dresser at 10°~15° against wheel horizontal axis, with tip offset 10° toward wheel circumference. Rotate the dresser regularly to keep diamond tip sharp for uniform ideal dressing result.
  3. Dressing Process Tips
    Total stock removal per dressing cycle shall not exceed 0.02mm. For rough dressing, slightly increase feed and adopt multiple light passes instead of one heavy cut to reduce diamond wear. Wheel speed directly impacts workpiece Ra, select proper speed range according to target roughness.
